Dan Goodman was born in 1978 in the Bronx, New York. He lived with his mother in the Bronx until he was about 10. Later, they moved to Mt. Vernon, NY, where Dan spent the rest of his childhood.

While he was still young, Dan was introduced to sports, playing football during his junior year in high school. He found that he had a natural talent for the sport and became quite popular among his peers. Although sports were a big part of his life, another passion began to take root during his teenage years: wood flooring. In the summer of 1995, Dan was introduced to wood flooring, a field that would eventually become his career and business.

Education and Early Business Ventures

While working in the wood flooring industry, Daniel also pursued his education. He attended Johnson and Wales University, where he studied hotel and restaurant management and culinary arts.

In addition to his time at university, Daniel explored other entrepreneurial ventures. He opened a gourmet deli called “Good to Go Delicacies,” which allowed him to gain firsthand experience in managing a business, dealing with customers, and overcoming the challenges of running a small operation.
